Are bamboo socks good?
For everyday wear, yes. Bamboo viscose is noticeably softer than standard cotton, it breathes well and it soaks up moisture readily, so your feet feel fresher for longer. On its own, bamboo fibre is not the toughest, which is why TucaBoo socks are a blend: 70% viscose (from bamboo) for softness and breathability, 27% polyamide for strength, and 3% elastane for stretch and a fit that stays put. With a reinforced heel and toe, you get a sock that feels soft from the first wear and holds its shape.
What are the best socks for sweaty feet?
Socks that breathe and absorb moisture make the biggest difference. That makes a bamboo blend a good choice of socks for sweaty feet: the viscose soaks up moisture and the knit lets air through, so feet stay drier and more comfortable through the day.
A few habits help too:
- Put on a fresh pair every day.
- Give your shoes a day off between wears so they can dry out.
- Wash your socks at 30 to 40°C.

Where are TucaBoo socks made?
Every TucaBoo design is born here in Lancashire. We draw each pattern, pick every colour and test every sample ourselves. We then work with specialist sock factories overseas, chosen for their experience knitting bamboo yarn, to make each pair to our exact specification. Before any design goes on sale, we check the samples for softness, fit and finish, so every pair meets the standard we set at home.
What size should I buy?
Each design comes in one size per range (men's, women's and children's), so pick the range that matches your shoe size. Our Sizing and Care page has the full size chart in UK, US and EU sizes.
How do I wash my socks?
Machine wash at 30 to 40°C with similar colours. For the longest life, do not tumble dry.
How does Buy 5, Get 1 Free work?
Add six pairs to your basket and the lowest-priced pair is free. It applies to every group of six, so twelve pairs gets you two free. The offer cannot be combined with other discounts.
How much is delivery?

Do you deliver outside the UK?
Yes. We deliver to the EU and a range of other countries, including the USA, Canada and Australia. See our Delivery page for costs.
Can I return my socks?
Yes, within 30 days of delivery, as long as they are unworn and still attached to their original TucaBoo kraft card packaging with the tag intact. For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept socks that have been removed from the packaging or where the tag is torn or broken. Faulty items are always covered. See our Returns page for how it works.
Do you sell wholesale?
